Through real stories, state-by-state breakdowns, strategy episodes, and lessons from the field, we help everyday hunters plan better, hunt smarter, and turn limited time in the field into unforgettable memories.
Some of my favorite moments have happened miles from home — hearing a herd bull light up at 40 yards, slipping in on a bedded mule deer with only minutes of daylight left, or staring at a tag in my hand knowing what it took to get there. My goal is to help you reach that same moment — when the pack is heavy, the miles were worth it, and you realize you just pulled off something most never will.

Brian is a Minnesota-based hunter who grew up chasing whitetails on his family’s farm — but every year, the road calls him west.
From bugling bulls in the high country to shed hunting in wide-open sagebrush, Brian has built his hunting season around planning and executing western trips on DIY tags and public ground. With limited time, long drives, and high expectations, he knows what it takes to make each hunt count — and through Drawn West, he helps other hunters do the same.
